Your IP address
[edit]It's now unblocked. Someone from that IP staged a spam-vandalism incident earlier, and after warnings was blocked for 24 hours. I unblocked it early as per your request. -- Decumanus | Talk 17:34, 22 Apr 2004 (UTC)
Thankyou!
[edit]Thanks I appriciate you unbanning that ip address.--Ryan524 22:12, 25 Apr 2004 (UTC)
Admin?
[edit]Hey, I've been thinking you would make a great admin and you have been using wikipedia for a long time, just not as a registered member so, i'll nominate you, if you want.--Rbil88
sure
[edit]Knock your socks off, i bet everyone will oppose me though, remember not long ago a self-nominated myself, not one support, well their was from a friend who was not registered. But go ahead if you wish, it would be great to be an admin, i could finally be able to ban vandals for myself.--Ryan524 14:27, 21 Apr 2004 (UTC)
I think
[edit]I think I could talk the people into supporting you, you will now be added.--Rbil88 14:28, 21 Apr 2004 (UTC)
Hey, I Think...
[edit]Hey, i think you would make a great admin, but I noticed you self-nominated yourself and got turned down, that's stupid, maybe soon, i'll nominate you and maybe seeing that someone elese nominates you gives a better impression.--Rbil88
About Your Request To Be An Admin
[edit]Ryan - please don't be upset that your request for adminship was turned down. In all seriousness, it was *way* too early. Generally, we recommend people be here 5-6 months before requesting adminship; 3 months at the *very* least. So please don't get discouraged, it's nothing against you or your history here. You can reapply again in a few months and, if your history is good, you should have no problems next time around. →Raul654 04:59, Apr 17, 2004 (UTC)
Actually
[edit]Well actually i have been using wikipedia for about a year i just didn't have a username then, and whats really upsetting it the false accusation that i'm a sock puppet because my first edit was a vfd, and i figured that maybe wikipedia only allowed registered users to vote for deletion and so i figured i better register and so, you know.--Ryan524 20:19, 19 Apr 2004 (UTC)
Jeeves A Stub?
[edit]You really think Jeeves is a stub? Certainly, more could be said (as those endless Tolkein-related articles show, more can ALWAYS be said), but to me, a stub message implies that the article is grossly incomplete, and not a coherent whole. I think the Jeeves article touches all the important bases, even if briefly, and therefore isn't a stub. (I'm not arguing, or saying the message should be removed, by the way - I just wondered about your thoughts.) - DavidWBrooks 15:06, 5 Apr 2004 (UTC)
Yes
[edit]I certinly do, there is more that could be added to it.
Just So You Know...
[edit]Hi there. It's true that Wikipedia isn't for advertising, but I just wanted to let you know that it's fine to link to your website on your user page. Your user page (unlike all other pages on Wikipedia) is generally considered to be your own space, and you can (within some reasonable limits) do what you like with it. Okay
[edit]oh, okay, I just didn't want to come accross as some jerk who uses wikipedia as a plug for his site.--Ryan524 05:07, 5 Apr 2004 (UTC)
